Nintendo has finally revealed there new exclusive title Pokemon Sword and Shield for the Nintendo Switch. This will be for the eighth generation. They showed off some stuff for the game like some of the locations that you will be going to, and some of the new Pokemon. This was all revealed at the Direct this morning.

Pokemon Sword and Shield will begin like every other Pokemon game, you will have your choice of three starter Pokemon. The three pokemon starters that you will have the decision of choosing when you start your journey are a grass type Grookey, the fire type Scorbunny, and the water type Sopbbie. Other than that, there is not much else known about the game. Hopefully, in the coming months, we will have more information but for right now let’s go over the things that we do know right now about the game. The new Pokemon games will be set in the Galer region which is based on Britain. The look of the game feels like a true next gen Pokemon game that people have been asking for since the Switch has been out. There looks to some cool looking towns and huge mountains.

The game is being directed by Shigeru Ohmori who previously directed the 3DS games Pokemon Sun and Moon and the most recent game we have seen that is Pokemon related is Pokemon Let’s go Pikachu and Eevee.

Pokemon Sword and Shield will be releasing later this year for the Nintendo Switch and I personally can’t wait to see more of the game which might be at E3 in a couple of months.
