Marvel has announced a new chapter in its Predator saga with Predator: The Last Hunt. This new series, from Ed Brisson and Francesco Manna, continues the journey of Theta. Throughout previous installments in the saga, Theta has been traversing the universe looking to destroy the deadly creatures known as Yautja. Now, this next chapter will bring the one-woman army face-to-face with the very worst that the Yautja have to offer. Who will come out on top?

Predator: The Last Hunt is poised to be Marvel’s deadliest venture into the Predator universe yet. Back in August of 2022, Marvel first stepped into the world of the Yautja with the action and horror that fans of the sci-fi icon can expect. Several series have taken readers deep within the lore of the Yautja, adding new elements, characters, and depth to the Predator mythos. Now, Ed Brisson and Francesco Manna will once again explore a new facet of these deadly aliens.

The new series picks up on Theta’s mission to destroy Predators in the search for the ones that killed her parents. Alongside that mission, she’s also attempting to free the humans being held captive by the Yautja. However, the introduction of a Super Predator puts Theta’s missions and life in jeopardy. Even someone who spent their life killing Predators can easily become prey under this new threat.

Predator: The Last Hunt writer Ed Brisson is no stranger to the Predator series. He worked on the two previous volumes of the series and is excited to share this next chapter with fans. The writer is eager to continue Theta’s journey and show how a seasoned pro handles going from predator to prey.

While Brisson may be old hat for the Predator series, artist Francesco Manna is new to the Yautja world. The artist, known for his guttural work on series like Carnage, is debuting on Predator: The Last Hunt. However, he has worked closely with Brisson back in 2018 with Old Man Logan.

Predator: The Last Hunt #1 goes on sale on 21 February.
