Prince Harry burned a lot of bridges after his and Meghan Markle’s 2020 exit. Since then he’s been embroiled in a feud with the Royal Family. Harry’s strained relationship with his father King Charles and brother Prince William is well known. But his behavior has reportedly angered other family members.
The rift between Harry, Charles, and William has caused many family members to choose sides. While the prince still has a few supporters, most of the relatives have sided with the Royal Family. Among those who’ve turned their back on the Duke of Sussex are Zara and Mike Tindall.
Zara, the daughter of Princess Anne, and her husband Mike were once close with Harry and Meghan. However, the group’s relationship has now turned “frosty” according to a report from Express UK.
The distance between the two couples began following the Sussexes’ royal exit. Tensions have gotten so bad that Mike referred to his cousin-in-law by an unflattering name.
According to the news outlet, Tindall’s remark was reportedly made in June 2022 during the Platinum Jubilee celebration. Prince Harry and Meghan returned to London to celebrate the special occasion with his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II. The couple attended the thanksgiving service at St. Paul’s Cathedral alongside the Tindalls and other Royal Family members.
After the service the couple met with the Tindalls. While Zara and Meghan, Mike did his best to ignore Harry.
Later the Tindalls attended a star-studded Jubilee concert, while the Sussexes opted to skip the event. During the festivities, Mike shared his thoughts about his cousin with a guest. The former rugby player called Harry’s behavior “as that of a bastard.”
The never-ending saga of the royal feud doesn’t seem to be ending soon. Every day it seems like there’s more reports about another family member who is mad at Harry. Of course, as with any news, it’s important to take it with a grain of salt. You never know what goes on behind the palace doors.
