Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have made a life for themselves in the United States after exiting the royal family in 2020. The couple are currently raising their two children, Archie and Lilibet, in Montecito, California. However, sources are claiming that the Duke of Sussex has been “pouty” about missing his old life in the UK. He now allegedly wants to return to the royals. However, Meghan doesn’t seem to be on board with that plan.
According to a report by Radar Online, Prince Harry may be sick of spending his time with the rich and famous in Hollywood. Experts say that he appears to be longing for the days of his youth in the United Kingdom with his friends and family members.
“Meghan’s dreams have all come true, but what about Harry’s?” the expert stated. “He is now richer than he was, even more famous, and surrounded by celebrity hangers-on rather than the group of trusted people who [he] called friends.
The major change for Harry is having two children in his life and being able to play the role of loving father and husband, something he has always wanted,” Larcombe added. “Though aside from that dream achieved, there is arguably little else he has really gained.”
Pouty Prince Harry Ready For Return To Royals?
Larcombe went on to reveal that no matter how good his life is in California, Harry will also miss the UK. One of the most sensitive areas of concern for the Duke is that his family members aren’t getting to know his children. In return, the kids are being raised without knowing the paternal side of their family.
Royal author Tom Quinn says that it seems the honeymoon phase is over for Meghan and Harry. Instead, Harry is taking long walks down memory lane and looking back at his past with “rose-tinted” glasses. Despite all of the reasons the Sussexes left the UK, he still misses his old life. This includes many of his old friends who don’t come to visit him because they allegedly don’t get along with Meghan.
For her part, Meghan reportedly has no interest in returning to Britain. She felt “rejected” by the people in the country and the royals, per royal expert Kinsey Schofield. She doesn’t want to focus on winning anyone over. She’s content to stay in the United States and make connections with the Hollywood elite.
“They dont want to be forgotten. They are still trying to be American royals,” one person wrote via Reddit.
“Grasping for relevancy,” said another.
“[Charles] will never let Harry back in. Harry tried to damage the Crown and he blabbed. Both sins are unforgivable,” a third comment read.
“This is a new low for them,” a fourth person stated.
Meghan Markle Hasn’t Returned to the UK
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s feud with the royal family has been going on for years. Since that time, Harry has only returned to the UK a handful of times for important family events such as funerals. However, Meghan and the children haven’t accompanied him back home. The couple claim that security concerns have kept Harry from bringing his family back to his home country.
It remains to be seen if Prince Harry will be able to return to the royals and put an end to the rift between them. However, if Meghan Markle isn’t supportive of the idea, it may cause a lot of issues for the Duke of Sussex.
