Project Resistance is the newest zombie survival game from Capcom. Ahead of schedule, Capcom released a full trailer for Project Resistance. Project Resistance is their newest game in development which was teased a week ago. The leaked images showcased four individuals with various weapons going against what looked like to be zombies from the series. The title image of Project Resistance from the website has the “R” and the “E” in red while all the other letters are in white. This many speculated is to suggest the game is another Resident Evil title.
Today, Capcom themselves released an early look into the game with a full trailer. The trailer, available at the end of the article, shows off what looks to be four individuals protecting themselves in various environments. Their attackers are zombies, lickers, and even a version of Mr. X. The odd thing here is from the trailer it appears to be someone with robotic arms is calling all the shots. If you’ve ever seen the monster movie The Cabin in the Woods then you know what I’m talking about here. The individual, who puts on some light up robotic gloves to control a version of Mr. X, is seen in a basement control room. The control room has switches which the individual flips to release the lickers and get the zombies agitated enough to go after our four protagonists.

These four, as we know, are the only playable characters in Project Resistance. The new game is looking to fit an online survival multiplayer type where four players meet and try to survive either as long as possible or different environments. It definitely gives me some memories of Left 4 Dead where there were different stories with the different stages you played on. The characters so far don’t have any names or recognizable images on them to put them to the lore of Resident Evil. It wouldn’t surprise me though if they will give them some kind of relatable way into the universe.
Let us know down below in the comments what you think about the news of Project Resistance being an online survival multiplayer. Will you be playing the game once it comes out on PlayStation, Xbox One, and PC?
