PS Plus keeps improving its library, removing the old titles and adding new popular games. Since the service evolved into a Game Pass-style library, we can’t ignore that the service is developing. They already refreshed the library with a few new titles, but five more are on the way. To avoid any misunderstandings, it’s worth noting that those games are coming into the library and available for Extra and Premium tiers. The Essential monthly games were already announced at the beginning of the month. The good news from PS Plus is including Doom Eternal and Kena in its library; here are the details about them.
PS Plus Game Catalog Gets Five New Popular Titles
The game list was already announced with a blog post, but Sony chose not to promote it on the store page. In case you’ve missed them, here are the new games to be added on April 18:
- Wolfenstein: The Old Blood
- Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
- Kena: Bridge of Spirits
- Riders Republic
- Bassmaster Fishing
- Slay The Spire
- Monster Boy
- Cursed Kingdom
- Paradise Killer
- Sackboy: A Big Adventure
- The Evil Within
- Dishonored: Definitive Edition
- Doom Eternal
That update also brings the old Doom games to the PS4. Doom Eternal‘s addition is already a big deal for Doom fans, and the old titles are making the news sound even better. 2016’s Doom game was already in the library for a while, but Sony finally accepted that Doom Eternal‘s addition is a must for the fans. Those games are a few years old and could be low-priced, but considering hundreds of games in the library, PS Plus is now a good station to play the Doom series.
We are eager to see Sony focusing on releasing complete series. There’s a big competition between Game Pass and PS Plus, and that also affects the overall console wars. As gamers, we always want to see better games on both platforms and make decisions by what we play.
