Media Molecule’s creative game, Dreams, has officially gone gold. The company announced its newest title is officially ready for release on Monday morning.
This is, of course, the final full release of the title. Dreams released in early access last April after being officially announced at E3 2015. It’s been slowly picking up speed and popularity since then as people get a grasp on the kind of game within a game that can be built using its tools.
Excitement over the full and official arrival has been growing as more creators show off what they’ve been able to make. Everything from mini-games using 8-bit looking graphics to a very realistic English breakfast has been shown off in the last few months.
We’ve got some exciting news to share, CoMmunity… #DreamsPS4 has gone GOLD! 🥳🥳🥳
We’re all set for February 14th, 2020! Thank you for all the love and support you’ve shown Dreams and Media Molecule! We’re so excited to continue this adventure with you! ❤️ pic.twitter.com/uThlWjwfex

Those who didn’t partake in the early access offer will get to see what they can build for that special someone when it lands on the PS4 on Valentine’s Day.
Dreams have already made quite a bit of news because Media Molecule’s latest was the first Sony backed title to be released on the PS4 as an Early Access title.
The developers have had success before with a game designed to let people be designers with Little Big Planet. That earlier title gave players license to decorate and change important aspects of the game’s world but nowhere near the scale as to what this impending release offers.
With the tagline, “the only limit is your imagination,” Dreams allows users to learn how to design their own game and even collaborate with other users online.
If you don’t feel as though you’re up to par on making your own content, there’s still plenty to see and do from other users from around the globe. Dreams officially launch exclusively on Sony’s PlayStation 4 on February 14, 2020, for $39.99.
