A woman in Phoenix, Arizona, was caught on a racist, slur-filled tirade against immigrants. A camera would not deter her from going off on her intolerant meltdown, and she has since been reportedly identified.
Robbie Harvey shared the clip of the racist interaction on TikTok. In it, a woman wearing a hat is shown going off at people after exiting a music festival in Phoenix, Arizona. While the verbal altercation appears to have started before the recording began, the woman is seen openly declaring her bigotry.
“Yeah, I’m racist,” the self-proclaimed xenophobe said.
Then, the woman would use a racial slur, which is historically used to target illegal immigrants, most commonly Mexicans entering the United States by crossing the Rio Grande River. When confronted, however, she started to go off at the women she was targeting, repeatedly asking, “What did you say?“
Eventually, the racist woman left the scene, not before telling the people present that they should “go back to Mexico.” The Arizona women she targeted appeared unfazed by her racist remarks and attacks, and just laughed at the absurdity of the moment.
Furthermore, the event that all the people involved appeared to have attended was the Belicofest. It features mainly Mexican artists such as Peso Pluma, and one is left to wonder why an openly racist woman would want to attend an event of that nature.
Racist Woman Blasted, Reactions
And, of course, many were quick to point out that the bigoted lady in the video appeared to have Latino roots, which only adds to the irony of the incident.
“She looks more Mexican than I do!” one user commented. Another one wrote, “Ummm, she looks more Latin than me, and I’m Puerto Rican.” A third one said, “I thought she was mad because she was Mexican!”
A user also pointed out that, while Arizona is part of the United States, it was formerly part of Mexico. It was ultimately ceded and acquired in the 19th century, and the residents were allowed to become U.S. citizens.
Finally, Robbie Harvey revealed that the racist Arizona woman depicted in the video is allegedly named Dulce Tesfaye. Her first name is of Latin origin, and her last name is very common in Ethiopia. This, of course, just adds more fire to the outrageous racist behavior she displayed. Her socials have since been made private.
