It’s wild that we’ve reached a point where people are using ICE to insult minorities or even threaten them with getting arrested. These cowards might think the White House has their back, but in reality, they are just power-tripping off imaginary authority. That said, a Milwaukee-based attorney at a baseball game in Wisconsin got her rush of dopamine by threatening to “call ICE” on a random LA Dodgers fan, who’s actually a US citizen and military veteran. The Karen, who was also a board member for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, was quickly identified and fired.
The Wisconsin Karen’s name is Shannon Kobylarczyk, and she first insulted the fan for not drinking beer like a “real man” before cussing at him. The victim, Ricardo Fosado, was cheering for the LA Dodgers, while Kobylarczyk, a Brewers fan, was clearly opposed to his excitement when the game was going well for the Dodgers. “Let’s call ICE,” she said, trying to target Fosado for being a Latino. She even had the audacity to call security on Fosado to have him removed from watching the game. Fortunately, justice was served, and just as “the bigger they are, the harder they fall,” Kobylarczyk’s cushy career took a turn for the worse.
“As soon as we became aware of this video the individual was placed on immediate leave and we began an investigation. As a result of this process, the employee is no longer with the organization. We remain committed to maintaining a culture grounded in respect, integrity, and accountability,” commented ManpowerGroup, the company at which Kobylarczyk was an attorney.
Make-A-Wish Wisconsin also reportedly announced that “Shannon resigned from our board of directors this afternoon effective immediately.” In other words, the racist Karen was toast, and while many believed her punishment was well-deserved, Fosado came out saying he felt bad for her.
โI donโt think it was like horrible or something that should get her fired. I feel bad for her. We cannot be judged on one mistake, and a lot of emotions were involved. It was just hurt feelings, nobody physically hurt anybody,” Fosado stated, per SubX.News.
“I know what her wish is..” joked a Redditor, likely referring to her view on immigrants in the US based on her behavior towards Fosado. Unfortunately, not everyone who has acted like Kobylarczyk has been met with consequences, but her firing is a small victory for many who are sick of Trump and ICE’s reign of terror in the States.
