Good news for Resident Evil 4 Remake fans — the game’s latest update has made unlocking the Handcannon easier than ever before. Now players can obtain this weapon even without completing the Mercenaries mode, which is sure to make shooting down Granados even more fun. With the new RE4 Remake Mercenaries update, you can get the Handcannon pretty fast.

An update on Resident Evil 4 Remake has sparked excitement among fans. The update makes it easier to unlock one of the game’s most coveted weapons — The Handcannon. This powerful weapon was previously only available to players who competed in the game’s notoriously difficult Mercenaries mode. However, the update now makes it more accessible to them.

Unlocking the Handcannon in the RE4 Remake Mercenaries is no easy feat either, but it was worse before the update. Players had to beat the game on Professional difficulty without upgraded or bonus weapons like the Chicago Sweeper.

Obtaining the Handcannon is essential for earning the Gun Fanatic achievement/trophy, making it a highly sought-after accomplishment. As a result, the achievement/trophy is one of the rarest in the game, making this update a huge deal.

With this update, players can now achieve an S-rank on the game’s three RE4 Mercenaries mode levels and purchase the Handcannon for 1,000 CP. Some players may still find the Mercenaries mode challenging. Despite that, earning an S-rank in the three stages is significantly less time-consuming than completing a new game on Professional mode.

While the players who earned the weapon the traditional way would be disappointed, this update has still thrilled many RE4 fans. The Handcannon is a highly sought-after weapon that adds a new level of excitement and challenge to the gameplay. With this new unlock method, players have much more accessible ways to experience it.
