The nextย Call of Dutyย title is heading back to its roots, basing the game within World War II. This is quite a departure as the franchise has focused onย Modern Warfare and even future, orย Advanced Warfare, of late with all the latest tech and weaponry available to today’s and tomorrow’s forces over the past decade. In a celebration of returning to its roots, Activision is delivering live action trailers all about reliving the fun of those earlier WWII titles with the friends you used to play with all those many years ago. Enter the live action trailer forย Call of Duty: WWIIย entitled “Reassemble”.
The trailer is all about now grown adults reforming their old team. While all the members have moved on to new things, the mere mention of getting back into theย Call of Duty: WWII game is enough for all of them to jump at the chance to get the gang back together for some COD action. There are three versions of the trailer, each focusing on a different group of friends getting back together due to the prospect of returning to WWII action in a COD game.
