Last year’s critically-acclaimed wild-west adventure Red Dead Redemption 2 from Rockstar is coming to Google Stadia when the streaming platform releases this November. Google is obviously delighted to add such a huge AAA game to the growing roster for Stadia, here is what they had to say in a statement:
The Wild West is getting wilder and we are excited to bring this critically-acclaimed epic tale to Stadia, the new generation gaming platform from Google. Stadia will let players enjoy their favorite games on all the screens in their lives, without needing a console or high-end PC.
Stadia’s launch is just the beginning and we will continue to add the best games available. We’re looking forward to changing the way people access, play and enjoy their favorite games and we’re excited for players to come on this journey with us.
Players experiencing Red Dead Redemption 2 for the first time on Stadia will get to experience the enthralling 60 hour campaign and Red Dead Online, which is much improved since launch, recently just leaving beta.

It will feature all the new updates added, including Frontier Pursuits and Bounty Hunters. However, Stadia players will miss out on exclusive items such as a variant horse that is exclusive to the PS4.
Best of Last Year?
Red Dead Redemption 2 was up for many GotY awards for 2018, including the best title of the year. However, it did miss out on The Game Awards’ top prize, with God of War taking home the award.
