The zombies in REQUISITION VR wait for no one. Their festering bodies continue to plague the world, but so do gameplay updates that warrant fixes for multiple features. It’s been less than a year since it crawled from the grave on Steam (via SteamVR) on October 20, 2022, and developer Arcadia is nearly ready to fully release REQUISITION VR with publishing help from Spheroom. Come May 4, 2023, REQUISITION VR will exit its early access phase for its 15th update.

Fixes
- Fixed a bug where linked weapons would get stuck in the air after stabs
- Fixed zombie corpse behavior (now they have realistic physical mass and die realistically)
- Fixed issues with some interfaces and menus. Now the in-game interface doesn’t overlap with world objects
- Numerous visual fixes on game maps
- Numerous collider base fixes on game maps
- Numerous logic adjustments on game maps
Features
- Added SURVIVAL MODE and survival mechanics
- Linking now restores item durability
- Added puppet to zombies: significantly improved zombie reactions to physical interactions
- Added linking with rotors
- Added item dragging through walls, preventing hand sticking and catching on door frame edges and other narrow surfaces
- Added cleanup of dynamic items that drop in Horde Mode or purchased in the store if they are inactive for a certain period of time
- Added new PDA (hand interface)
- Added the ability to push crawling zombies
- Reworked gun play: now it’s much easier to aim with weapons, sights have been redesigned
- Added new zombie animations, replaced some old ones
Tweaks
- Set correct item positions in traps
- Replaced remote grab indicator
- Significantly improved remote grab behavior – no longer possible to grab items through walls
- Reworked zombie climbing system
- Zombie animations became smoother
- Reworked some VFX
- Significant sound improvements, adding new sounds to items where they were missing
- Completely reworked socket rig and its interface:
- Fixed usability issues
- Added folding hints for backpack and wearable sockets
- Reworked hammer and duct tape logic – duct tape can no longer be taken out before the linking stage
- Reworked hand UI – now to open it, you need to look at your hand
- Changed weights of some items, adjusted grab poses
- Changed zombie balance: hp, attacks, damage
