It’s been a long few days for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Kim and Kyle Richards. Recently, news broke that Kim was placed on a 5150 psych hold after one too many interactions with the police. Later, it was reported that Kyle and her family weren’t speaking to Kim because of her issues with sobriety.
The reality star’s older sister, Kathy Hilton, has been quiet throughout the storm. However, she recently posted a photo from Kyle’s Instagram on her story, which got some of the fans talking. The picture was a collage of throwback moments of Kyle and Kim as young girls on what looks like a movie set. In case you forgot, both sisters were child actors. Kim starred in Little House on the Prairie, and Kyle played a role in the iconic horror film Halloween.
After Kathy’s Instagram Story began floating around, people started voicing their opinions about what might’ve sparked Kim’s ongoing issues with sobriety. So, what did they have to say?

After the popular fan account Queens of Bravo reshared Kathy’s post online, many commented and seemed to share the same opinion.
“Kathy and Kyle owe her for the rest of their lives. She was their entire family’s livelihood for YEARS very much to her own detriment and safety. Kim Richards deserves the world.”
Another user hinted that Kim, Kyle, and Kathy’s late mother may have had a negative impact on them. “Kim was thrushed into stardom to lavish her mother’s lifestyle,” they wrote. “[Their mom] made big bucks off her talent,” another commented. “Two beautiful sisters and riches and fame ruined them.”

Kim’s 5150 psych hold came after the reality star was found incoherent at a Hilton Hotel in LA. When law enforcement asked her to leave, she refused, leading to her detention. Before that, she had another run-in with the law after her neighbors called the police due to her alleged problematic behavior.
Kyle and Kim both held diamonds on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from Seasons 1 through 5. Throughout those episodes, the sisters fought incessantly over Kim’s habits with alcohol. Eventually, Kim left the series while Kyle stayed. Because of that, there’s a strong chance this will be part of Kyle’s storyline during the upcoming season.
