Someone got an early Christmas present as Jen Shah’s sentencing was moved to after the holidays. RHOSLC star Jen Shah, in court for fraud, is having her sentencing moved for the second time. As court documents revealed, the Bravolebrity successfully moved her sentencing date for over a month. Get the details below.

Jen Shah’s Sentencing Moved To January

Court documents obtained by Page Six showed that the TV personality’s sentencing date was postponed again. Her attorney, Priya Chaudhry, filed the request on Wednesday, November 23, which Judge Sidney H. Stein quickly approved.

The new date for the sentencing is now January 6, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. ET. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star’s sentencing was scheduled for November 18 but pushed to December 15.

This was after U.S. attorney Damian Williams requested the postponement due to a “scheduling conflict on the part of several members of the Government team.”

RHOSLC Star Jen Shah Was Charged With Fraud

The RHOSLC star was arrested in front of Bravo cameras in March 2021 for allegedly running a nationwide telemarketing scheme.

Jen stunned friends and fans when she pleaded guilty just before her trial in July. Before that, she vehemently denied every charge. The 49-year-old is charged with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing.

The embattled star admitted to the judge to “wire fraud, offering services with little to no value.”

“We used interstate telephones and emails. I knew many of the purchasers were over the age of 55. I am so sorry,” she added.

Prosecutors offered her a plea deal of 11 to 14 years behind bars and restitution of up to $9.5 million. However, the judge can sentence her to a higher or lower term.

Ahead of her sentencing, it is unclear whether she will return for the show’s fourth season. According to reports, the TV star’s legal woes were filmed for Season 3 leading up to her July plea. However, her guilty plea could change things as Andy Cohen recently insinuated that she won’t be returning for another season.

“Once we wrapped [Season 3 and] she pled guilty, I think that was kind of, unfortunately, the end of, you know, the engagement there,” Andy said during BravoCon 2022.

However, the Bravo executive plans to talk to her on camera as he has a lot of questions for her.

Postponing the sentencing may offer temporary relief, but it might be better to get it over with quickly. However, the most important thing is that Jen learns her lessons and that justice is served fairly.
