Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s Son Marks First Birthday in Style
One year after becoming first-time parents, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are marking another milestone in their relationship. Taking to Instagram on Saturday, May 13, A$AP paid special tribute to his son, the Wu Tang tribe way. He shared a string of family photos featuring them enjoying special moments with their son. The first showed RZA crawling on a blanket, away from his parents, who looked so in love as they locked lips.
In the next shot, the family of three flaunted their top-of-the-art sunglasses while posing in what seemed like a kids’ section. Other shots showed the trio striking various goofy poses. The proud dad also shared shots of him enjoying adorable father-son moments with the one-year-old, finishing with a final slide showing Wu-Tang Clan founding member Ol’ Dirty acknowledging that “Wu Tang Clan is for children.” A$AP reechoed this sentiment in his caption, writing,
“WU TANG IZ 4 DA CHUREN.” HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY TO MY 1st BORN . RZA.”
This comes days after news outlets obtained the birth certificate of the youngster. The certificate confirmed Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s son’s name for the first time as RZA Athelston Mayers after the couple kept it a secret for almost a year. The name was a nod to Wu Tang Clan producer and rapper Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, better known as RZA.
Earlier, the Umbrella crooner surprised fans when she debuted her baby bump at the 2023 Super Bowl, confirming she was expecting a second child. With RZA growing by leaps and bounds, another child to complete their expanding family is certainly a welcome idea.
