Publisher Riot Forge is collaborating with several developers to bring a new slew of indie games based on the League of Legends series to PC and consoles. Among these The Mageseeker, Convergence, and The Song of Nunu. All are expected to come to PC and consoles later this year.
Riot Forge Announces The Mageseeker, Convergence, Song of Nunu and More for League of Legends
League of Legends publisher Riot Forge is expanding the mythos of the game with three new titles coming later this year, including The Mageseeker, Convergence, and the Song of Nunu.
The Mageseeker is described as a gritty 2D hi-bit pixel action RPG by Moonlighter developer Digital Sun that will allow players raise a rogue mage army and lead a revolution. They will take on the role of an escaped mage named Sylas and venture on a quest for vengeance against the kingdom of Demacia, who has built a false ‘peace’ from the mistreatment of other mages.
It will be available for PC and consoles in spring 2023.
Convergence is another upcoming League of Legends title, described as a single player 2D action platformer featureing time control mechanics from dev from Double Stallion Games, famous for their work on Speed Brawl. It will focus on the League character Ekko, The Boy Who Shattered Time, and be available for PC and consoles in Summer 2023.
Finally, The Song of Nunu is a single-plater adventure game form Deadlight developer Tequilla Games. Players will take on the role of Nunu, a young boy on a quest to find his lost mother in the treacherous icy world of Freljord. They must unearth many secrets, myths, and legends of the frozen tundra alongside a wise and playful yeti named Willump. The game is expected to release for PC and consoles in Fall 2023.
