Normal mermaids are okay, but an undead mermaid brings it to the next level. This DTI outfit idea focuses on a wealthy woman who has drowned—which is why her skin is blue—and is still wearing the jewelry she died in. Given her fancy attire, she may have attended a party on a boat that was then sunk by pirates.

Speaking of the undead, this Sunken Treasure outfit idea focuses on the pirate instead, but we don’t want just a regularly old pirate. This is a ghost pirate, with pale skin, creepy white eyes with no pupils, and still wearing fancy jewelry they most definitely stole from someone. Oh, and the two swords are also very expensive looking.

What would be guarding sunken treasure? A monster, of course! This creepy (but beautiful) mermaid monster has fangs, fins, and sickly green skin, like the color of algae. She’s also wielding a fancy scepter, perhaps magical in nature.
This is one idea you can really go nuts with in Dress To Impress. I wanted her to resemble algae, but since she’s monster coded, you could go for something like a warrior monster mermaid. Give her some swords or switch out her eyes for white pupils.

The previous pirate outfit was more traditional, but with this one, I wanted something more exotic. This pirate has bold coloring, two swords, and wears a bunch of jewelry. She may have been in one too many fights to have that much jewelry. And the eyepatch shows she may have lost some matches, too.

This Sunken Treasure DTI outfit idea is similar to the fancy pirate outfit. Rather than focus on an underwater theme, I imagined a princess who is wearing the treasure her pirate parents stole. And her dress is more flouncy, with a fancy colonial dress vibe rather than something modern.
