In Meme Sea, your race is an essential part of your Roblox character, granting small and significant boosts, like speed, defense, and utility. That is, anything but the Human race. Regardless, each race has its strengths and weaknesses, but the best races in Meme Sea excel in both PvP and PvE. Seeing as you could go from farming waves of NPCs to fighting players at any given moment, it’s important to be prepared.
Human
If I were to rank the best races in Meme Sea, the Human race wouldn’t even be in the running. This race is absolutely terrible given that it grants no bonuses whatsoever. You don’t even get any cosmetic characteristics, like a hat or a scar or something.
Another point is the lack of any upgrade for the race, too. Unlike the other races in Meme Sea, Humans have no awakened form. What you see is what you get, and you get nothing!
Rabbit
The Rabbit race isn’t faring much better than the Human race in Meme Sea, but it’s marginally better and if you happen to get it the first you play, it isn’t the end of the world. In fact, if you do roll the Rabbit race early on, hold onto it for now. It doesn’t offer much, but it’s better than wasting cash or gems on rerolling.
What the Rabbit race offers is increased movement speed, which does come in handy for keeping you mobile. Sure, you have virtually limited dashes and a fair number of sky jumps, but the added movement speed ultimately helps keep you out of big area-of-effect attacks.
Bird
Out of the four races, the Bird is among the two best ones in Roblox Meme Race, mainly for its awesome utility. Normally, you’re limited to 15 sky jumps and after that you have to touch the ground (or land in water) before it goes on cooldown. However, if you’re a member of the Bird race, you get an activated ability, letting you sky jump as much as you want, until the effect wears off.
The Bird ability also rapidly heals you, and it’s fast enough to soak up a bunch of damage. It’s good for raid bosses and just general survivability, but in PvP, the Bird race is an excellent choice. Fruits especially have a lot of burst damage, and this race alone can easily counter combos. Oh, and you get a pair of wings!
Fish
Fish is the other race of the two best races in Meme Sea and is arguably the better of the two for its incredible defense. It grants an 80% damage reduction buff, though it is temporary. Why heal through all that burst damage when you could just tank it all, right? Pair it with the Moai Face accessory and the Aura ability, and you could probably withstand a nuke.
Were you to roll for the Fish race, you’ll know by the little shark fin on your back. As a bonus, being a fish-human hybrid, the oceans of Meme Sea won’t hurt you either. It makes it pretty easy to farm raid bosses, like the Meme Beast!
How to Change Race in Meme Sea
When you first join Meme Sea, a race is chosen for you at random. You can tell what you are by the small characteristics like a fan or bunny ears, but if you have cosmetics that hide that, you can also find that in the Profile tab of the in-game menu. Luckily, you have the option to change it!
Unfortunately, changing your race requires Gems, not money, which is technically premium currency. You can still earn it in-game, though. Anytime you defeat a boss, even the low-level Big Floppa, you’ll get a few Gems. If you speak with Watermelon Man on Floppa Island, near the spawn, you can reroll your race for 250 Gems.
