Ron Kamonohashi and Totomaru Isshiki return for season 2 with many more mysteries to solve and criminals to stop. Although this anime is a shonen, it is quite refreshing due to the crazy and random reactions of the great detective Ron Kamonohashi. Also, Ron and the cop Totomaru make a great dynamic duo but deliver a kind of humor that is somewhat unexpected. Being so different from all the other adaptations that are much more action-packed is why fans enjoy this anime and why it has caused such a furor with its sequel.

The work of Akira Amano, author of ēlDLIVE and Tutor Hitman Reborn!, premiered during the fall season on October 2 and ended on December 25 in Japan. Its first season collected 13 episodes, and those chapters reached the West thanks to the Crunchyroll’s simulcast. Now, Kadokawa shared an official illustration of Ron Kamonohashi and Totomaru as a teaser for season 2 of the anime. Unfortunately, there is no release date for the continuation of the anime. Many hope that they will continue with mysteries such as the Shibuya Revelation Serial Murders Case, along with the other cases explicitly designed to test Ron’s intelligence.

There is still much to discover, such as the people who set Ron up in high school or what is the connection between Kamonohashi, Moriarty, and Holmes. Currently, there are 12 compilation volumes of the manga, and so far, for the detective, there will be many more cases to solve and mysteries to unravel with Toto.

As the second season of these Detectives arrives, plenty of other great animated of this year that will keep you intrigued with their story. Also, anime lovers expect many new adaptations for the next winter anime season in 2024.
