Publisher StickyLock Studios and developer Alterego Games have recently announced that their psychological horror adventure game, Sanity of Morris, will be launching on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on March 23.

Sanity of Morris – Features

The game combines the mechanics of stealth games with elements of the detective-adventure genre. Put a psychological horror theme over that, and you get the gripping and chilling story of Sanity of Morris.

Sanity of Morris uses a first-person perspective and puts the player in the shoes of one Jonathan Morris. After years of having no contact with his father, Jonathan decides to brave the isolated town of Greenlake in hopes of finding answers. Be careful, though; his father might not be the only thing that Jonathan will encounter in his journey. You must outmaneuver your enemies to remain unseen and survive.

The player must use the flashlight to reveal vital clues that point to the truth. As Johnathan encounters more unnatural and extraterrestrial events, the line between fact and fiction will begin to blur.

In Sanity of Morris, it’s up to you, the player, to discover your version of the truth. Will your truth include the existence of aliens? Or will you be so affected by surreal events that you’re not able to tell the difference between illusions and reality?

Besides Sanity of Morris, Alterego Games have previously released Woven and The True Tales of Bloodstreet 13 – Chapter 1 on Steam. Both were released in 2019 and have received positive reviews. StickyLock Studios were also involved in the publishing of the game Woven. Alterego “doesn’t pull their punches” when it comes to developing games. They believe that artwork should be appealing and that the UI should be self-explanatory.

Alterego Games writes:

We believe entertainment games should not be addictive empty vessels of fun. Embody your game with something real, a bit of passion.”
