The ladies of Selling Sunset are seeing what their new season looks like, and it seems there’s a big divide in the Oppenheim Group. Original cast member Chrishell Stause posted about watching the first looks at season 8. It’s safe to say the reality star is unimpressed with Done and Done Productions, the company behind the show.
After posting a photo of herself as Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones while mentioning watching the screeners, Chrishell suggested someone “needs to take my phone,” adding, “Are we really still giving air time to LIARS that just want air time??“
Chrishell Wasn’t the Only One Who Got Upset
I will NEVER work on a show with her on it again. I would rather be sued.
(Disclaimer when you watch: just know she spews a disgusting lie about a bestie that is categorically FALSE and SUPER damaging. It is NOT TRUE)
@done_and_done productions and you are disgusting for blindsiding her with this to see with the world instead of letting her at LEAST defend herself with the TRUTH
Just a few hours later, Chelsea Lazkani stepped onto her own Instagram Story with a few thoughts for production.
Good morning everyone expect (sic) for @itsnicoleyoung!!
@itsnicoleyoung You are the most diabological piece of 🗑️ I’ve ever met, you wanna start a rumor about Emma because all the urmors about you are true. Okay let’s see how this works out for you…
@done_and_done_productions where is your moral ground and integrity?? Spreading lies for views is so damaging.
Chelsea went on to call out Nicole, as well as Bre Tiesi and Mary Bonnet, claiming, “You lie, placate, steal meanwhile your own🗑️ has landed some of you in lawsuits. I’ve kept quiet until now, but this is not okay.“
She concluded by writing, “FYI Nicole is not the only homophobic and transphobic cast member.“
Emma Heman, who is mentioned as the person at the center of the “damaging” rumor, has yet to publicly comment.
Bre Tiesi and Nicole Young Have Both Spoken Out
Someone brought the beef to Bre Tiesi, with a Selling Sunset fan account commenting on a photo of Bre and her son asking why her cast mate was calling her out. Bre is never one to mince words, and this was no exception.
Not too long after, Nicole addressed the comments she was being tagged in and doubled down on whatever her mystery rumor may be.
As a married woman, I strongly and confidently stand for the sanctity of all marriages.
Instead of attacking me and accusing me of lying, I think you ladies need to ask your bestie some tough questions. Did she let you know she was directly confronted on camera at the season 7 finale by the wife’s best friend? Even still, I stated this infor as a rumor. And given both of you have been the victim of extramarital affairs, I would think you too would stand for the sanctity of all marriages.
Fans of the reality series have started speculating on social media about the situation the women are referencing. Given that Emma herself is single, it seems like the women are insinuating she interfered with someone else’s marriage. Understandably, that is a huge accusation that could be damaging in and of itself. The sharp reaction from the different women, however, makes it feel like there’s something more at play.
A few have suggested that Emma is accused of being involved with Chelsea’s ex. While Chelsea’s divorce does come up in the teaser for the season, there’s no strong indication that the two storylines are connected.
With just days left until the season is release, the drama between castmates is definitely getting viewers engaged. Soon, the rumor will be out there — unless production heeds the complaints of some cast members. Either way, as long as there’s fashion, real estate, and mess, we’ll be watching.
