Selling Sunset’s Maya Vander is ready for a new start as she becomes pregnant again months after she suffered the loss of her pregnancy. The reality star announced the loss of her unborn baby in June 2022. She is already a mom to two older kids, Aiden and Elle, whom she shares with her husband, David Miller.
According to People, a source confirmed the TV personality was expecting a baby again. Maya also gushed about the baby news in an interview with The US Sun. She revealed she was nine months pregnant, and her baby would arrive any day now. Despite the excitement, Maya Vander couldn’t help but feel on edge, given her previous pregnancy losses. She shared:
“It’s exciting, but also this time around I have more fears and more concerns given the last circumstances.”
Why Maya Vander Kept Mum About Being Pregnant
Maya also was candid about her decision to keep the pregnancy off social media this time. This choice attributed her silence to her previous pregnancy loss at nine months.
The news comes about eighteen months after the Selling Sunset star revealed she lost her child 38 weeks into her pregnancy. In her December 2021 post, Maya explained how a regular weekly checkup became a nightmare after discovering her baby was stillborn.
Six months after the tragic encounter, Maya Vander suffered another pregnancy loss, having a miscarriage at just 10 weeks pregnant. She later learned that she lost her second pregnancy due to “the umbilical cord mixing with some swallowed placenta,” in what she has since described as a bad accident. Thankfully, her husband David and their kids helped her walk through the rough roads. She also made it clear she had no intention of giving up on having another baby despite her two previous setbacks. Fortunately, Maya Vander has a chance to be pregnant again and add a new bundle of joy to her fast-growing brood.
