Shannen Doherty Had Big Plans For Her Remains
According to Radar Online, Doherty previously opened up about her plans for her remains once she passed away. She revealed to the Let’s Be Clear podcast that she wanted to be cremated. However, she made it very clear that she wanted her ashes to be disposed of in a very specific way.
“I do not want to be buried. I want to be cremated … really mix it up so it’s a healthy mixture of my father, me, and Bowie,” she said, referencing her beloved dog. However, not all of her ashes will be mingling with her father and her adorable puppy friend. Doherty reportedly gave one of her close friends permission to wear some of her ashes around their neck.
Shortly after being diagnosed, Shannen Doherty revealed that her dog, Bowie, seemingly knew something was going on with her health. The actress admitted that the pup “would obsessively sniff right here on my right side for a long time before. So, it made sense when I got diagnosed,” she previously stated. She also admitted that Bowie helped her through her treatments during some dark days.
