This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

As you travel through the starfield, you will eventually come across Elias Cartwright in Akila City. He will explain to you how Sahar Hasanov, a descendant of an early Akila City family, has passed away with no heir. He wants to do right by Hasanov’s family and be given her will and testament so as to find her heir and give them what is rightfully theirs. So, should you give the will to Frank or Elias in Starfield?

Even though Elias will give the will to the person who most deserves it, giving the will to Frank will give you way more rewards. In order to make the most informed decision possible, we wrote out exactly what would happen if you gave the will to Elias and what would happen if you gave the will to Frank. You’ll need to have heard the rumor about how Frank Langston purchased the old Hasanov Manor in order to get the waypoint to either speak with him or Elias. Even if you don’t know anything about him, you will still be able to make this decision by walking over to the Langston Estate and finding Frank.

What Happens If You Give The Will To Frank?

If you give Sahar Hasanov’s will to Frank Langston, he will give you 10,000 credits so that his purchase of the Hasanov Manor wouldn’t be so problematic among the locals of the town. In doing this, you can return to Elias and lie to him about what happened to the will, extracting an additional 5,500 credits for doing so. It might feel morally wrong, but at least you’re able to walk away from the situation with tons of credits in your pocket.

What Happens If You Give The Will To Elias?

If you decide to give the will to Elias instead, then he will thank you for it and give you a small reward of 2,500 credits. He will also explain that he will do what he can in order to find the heir to the manor and that he will reach out to a lawyer to ensure that it goes to the right person. This amount is less than half of what he would have given you if you decided to lie, so you might want to take that into consideration before you decide to hand over the will. Now, you have all you need to resolve the Frank or Elias Starfield mission.
