The Manga that features the protagonist with the most complicated personality in the world returns, and that’s Shugo Chara. Amu Hinamori is a girl who has difficulty relating to others and wants to fit in as an ordinary girl. That’s why she needs to discover who she wants to be with her “fairy” companions, Ran, Miki, Su, and Dia. The news about the sequel came thanks to the magazine Nakayoshi, which published stories like Candy Candy, Sailor Moon, and Cardcaptor Sakura. Nakayoshi’s announcement about the Manga sequel of Shugo Chara also revealed more details of its return to its publishing house and an approximate release date.

The Manga Shugo Chara is a work of the famous manga duo PEACH-PIT, formed by Banri Sendo and Shibuko Ebara, who will return for this sequel. This team is well-known for projects such as Rozen Maiden, Zombie-Loan, and DearS. Shugo Chara quickly became one of the most popular products between 2006 and February 2010, reaching 12 volumes. Its popularity also grew exponentially with its adaptation to anime in 2006, having more than 100 episodes between its 3 parts. This work has received awards such as the Kodansha Manga Award in the category of Best Kodomo and became one of the most-watched series in 2008. That is why it causes so much commotion that PEACH-PIT returns for the sequel of Shugo Chara in the Summer of 2024.
