With over eighty percent of our planet’s oceans still unexplored by humans, we can only leave it to our dark imagination to fill in the void of what stygian creatures lurk in the harrowing depths beneath the water’s surface. The nautical abyss beckons you to embrace the shuddersome darkness of the deep and discover what indescribable horrors lie in wait for you at the bottom of the sea. Coming to PC early next year, Silt PC offers such an experience, allowing you to not only explore a bizarre underwater realm but also granting you the ability to possess the sea creatures to manipulate and overcome perilous obstacles. Get ready to dive into the oceanic void and wishlist the game now on Steam.

In collaboration with the talented surreal artist, Mr. Mead, indie studio Spiral Circus has created a Limbo-esque, monochrome world filled with unsettling nightmarish creatures that you would undeniably object to see in your dreams. With a supernatural soul that’s both mortal and spectral, you can traverse the uncanny waters via your body and the bodies of other entities. These less fortunate creatures will lose power over their mind as you guide them at your will to solve puzzles and increase your survivability in Silt‘s hideous undersea adventure. What inhabits these waters is anything but natural, so be prepared to encounter colossal monstrosities and unimaginable terrors that seek to discover the flavor of your internal organs.

Dark Ocean in Silt

Those who enjoyed the frighteningly disturbing experiences that Little Nightmares or Inside offered will undoubtedly find the harrowing journey of Silt to be quite a treat. Lovecraftian fans will likewise take a great liking to the game’s stunningly tenebrous hand-drawn imagery and its dank, foreboding atmosphere. Are you brave enough to swim in the waters of Silt PC? Are you familiar with the accursed yet beautiful artwork of Mr. Mead? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments!
