According to Without a Crystal Ball‘s Katie Joy’s recent YouTube video, it appears that Sister Wives star Robyn Brown is allegedly hiding what could be a very serious addiction. Since the triple split between Kody Brown, Christine, Janelle, and Meri, money has been a significant issue for the exes.
The former co-wives only want their fair share from Kody Brown. The jointly purchased property known as Coyote Pass has recently become a major issue between Janelle and Kody. She wants Robyn and Kody to buy her out because, like Christine and Meri, she has creditors coming after her for past debts owed.
However, Kody Brown and Robyn Brown claim they can’t afford to buy her out. They have cash flow issues, and their money is tied up in various other avenues. Now, thanks to Joy and the Sister Wives detectives, we may know exactly where that cash flow problem stems from.
It appears that Joy has uncovered years of receipts revealing Robyn Brown has allegedly drained hundreds of thousands of dollars from their account over the past few years.
All signs could be pointing to a serious shopping addiction for Robyn Brown. She is seemingly accused of spending over $60k on Etsy purchases. Katie Joy’s investigation reveals that from January 2022 to February 2025, she discovered 492 purchase reviews on dolls or doll clothes.

But it gets worse. Robyn and Kody Brown have forbidden TLC cameras to film inside their home for years. Over the years, various fan reports and photos have suggested that Robyn could be a hoarder. Now, it not only appears that Robyn Brown has a shopping addiction but is likely struggling with hoarding issues as well.
Kody Brown has reportedly been under a lot of pressure from his family due to Robyn Brown’s alleged shopping addiction. So much so that fans have caught on to what appears to be a secret battle of his own.
One Reddit user recently discovered that Kody Brown appears to have been caught enjoying some Christmas spirits during filming. The Sister Wives clip was uploaded to Reddit, revealing Kody hugging one of his younger daughters on Christmas. Following the embrace, Kody sits down in his chair, and the fan notices what looks to be a flask in his hand as he attempts to unscrew the cap.
“If this is true, it is sick on so many levels, especially after the way they have treated certain family members and their needs,” states one fan.
After viewing the clip, fans debated how long Kody Brown may have been secretly boozing before being outed by fans. Many believe the signs were all there. Kody’s quick temper, and outrageous behavior. They also think he could be self-medicating. He has had a lot to deal with with such a large family. The split from his wives, Robyn Brown’s alleged addictions, as well as the death of his son Garrison Brown.
