Shirley Currey is known as the gaming grandma and has over 771,000 subscribers on YouTube that follow her adventures in Skyrim. The 83-year-old gamer primarily plays The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and began streaming in 2015. In 2020, you can travel with her throughout Skyrim as she will be transformed into a companion follower to the Dovahkiin.
The mod, Shirley – A Skyrim Follower Mod, is being created by a small team of developers with the permission of Shirley. Bethesda said that they will be adding her as a playable character in the Elder Scrolls VI, whenever it releases.

The developers released a short teaser trailer of the mod. The video shows the dragonborn walking towards Shirley as she turns around and greets the player with her opening catchphrase, ‘good morning grandkids.’

She really cares about her subscribers and anyone who enjoys her videos. After having a surprising amount of back and forth with her, I can honestly say that I’ve never met someone like her. She is exactly as good-hearted and, simultaneously, devilish as she seems on her videos.”
Shirley posted to her Twitter on Monday about the official announcement of the mod.
I have a surprise this morning!! Here is the link to the short trailer and commentary about my modded character for Skyrim, which several modders have been working on!!”
