Snoop Dogg had his desires fixed on exploring EA’s latest video game, Madden NFL 24, having gotten the Deluxe Edition of the game. However, technical glitches stood in his way. Microsoft announced the worldwide release of its latest video game, Madden 24, as being August 18, 2023. Amid growing anticipation of its release, the company made available 3-day Early Access to the title for those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition. Interestingly, rapper Snoop Dogg was one of those hopping on the early access train on August 15.
Snoop Dogg Calls Out Microsoft Over Madden 24 Crash
Things, unfortunately, came to a crashing halt when gamers experienced disappointing server issues that lasted for up to thirty minutes. The rapper did not take kindly to the technical error, going on a profanity-packed social media rant targeting Microsoft, the company behind Madden 24. He began,
“Come on now, that’s two hours since the game came out. Do i need to go on Instagram and cuss you motherf—kers out or is y’all going to fix this sh—t?”
Snoop Dogg made it clear to Microsoft that should the technical issues keeping him from playing the game continue, he would slam them on Instagram. He also admitted that his friends were urging him to do just that. However, he refrained from continuing to thrash them publicly, but his patience eventually wore off. He concluded,
“Get this sh—t f—king fix man. What the f—k is y’all doing?”
Snoop Dogg continued his angry rant in the caption, tagging Microsoft and reminding them he’d been waiting two hours to play since laying his hands on the Madden 24 Deluxe Edition. He wrote,
“@eamaddennfl W. T. F. Are y’all doing we been waiting 2 hours to play the homies @microsoft.”
Thankfully, Microsoft yielded to Snoop Dogg’s rampage spree soon enough, getting Madden 24 up and running. One hour after his Instagram rant, the icon shared another video announcing the game was back on.
The clip featured Snoop’s voice in the background doing a commentary on his digital game between the New York Jets and the Dallas Cowboys. So far, he’s expressed no regrets about playing the game. On the contrary, he had a swell time crushing the Cowboys with his preferred NFL team, the Jets.
