The wildfires ravaging L.A. in January destroyed several neighborhoods, increasing fire insurance prices. This painted a dire picture for Affleck, and Lopez’s property as the estimated insurance cost for the home was six figures. It would cost $500,000 a year in insurance to manage the former couple’s property, a large sum that chased buyers away.
The news left social media users divided on X, with some supporting Affleck’s decision to lower the home’s asking price. A J.Lo critic slammed the actress as toxic, alleging she was dragging her feet in retaliation. “Because she wants to torture him for as long as she can for ruining his life… I mean, her life for a second time.
