Vergara recently gave thanks for all the opportunities her beautiful looks first afforded her years ago. During an interview with OK Magazine, Sofia Vergara elaborated on her Hollywood success, admitting that her body and boobs opened doors for her. Talking about claims that her looks helped to give her a leg up in the entertainment industry, the 51-year-old shared that it would be absurd to deny it or feel negatively about it.
“My giant boobs and my body opened doors for me; they were my passport to the world when I was 20 years old when I started as a model,” the Modern Family star added.
However, Sofia Vergara said her success in Hollywood was also due to her fearless nature.
“The worst that can happen to me is that they can say I look ugly or that this jackass doesn’t know how to act. I can take it,” she said.
Vergara further noted that she didn’t waste time on people who couldn’t see past her exterior. Most importantly, she emphasized that it was her talent that helped her stick around and become an in-demand Hollywood star.
Sofia Vergara Talks About Her Split From Her Husband
Elsewhere in the interview, the television personality opened up about her split from her husband, Joe Manganiello. Recall that the pair tied the knot in 2015 but called it quits after eight years of bliss in July 2023. Vergara explained that they parted ways due to Manganiello’s desire to have kids.
“My marriage broke up because my husband was younger; he wanted to have kids, and I didn’t want to be an old mom,” she said.
However, the AGT judge made it clear she wasn’t against people’s choices to have kids in middle age or later. Overall, Vergara said she was ready to care for a baby, only if it came as a grandchild from her son, Manolo.
