Sofia Vergara‘s interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show has gone viral. On Wednesday, Jan. 25, the actress sat down with Kelly Clarkson to talk about her jaw-dropping transformation into Griselda Blanco for her new Netflix series, Griselda. After the “Mine” singer remarked how it looked like Vergara “only changed [her] nose” to turn into the Colombian drug lord, Vergara corrected her by explaining the process involved “hours” of makeup. When Clarkson doubled down on her comments, Vergara told her to “shut up” — a moment which has since received millions of views on TikTok.

Vergara called Clarkson “crazy” for thinking her transformation “only” involved a prosthetic nose. Despite causing a stir, Clarkson continued to downplay the actress’ Griselda looks by calling her makeup “slight.” That’s when Vergara revealed she had actually spent “hours” turning into the character every day on set.
When Clarkson repeated that a “slight change” made all of the difference, Vergara playfully told the host to “shut up.” She then launched into an explanation of all the important details that went into nailing her Griselda look.

After hearing Vergara out, Clarkson tried to smooth things over by clarifying she thought the actress’ makeup team did such a “good job” that her transformation looked “seamless.” In fact, it looks so amazing that she could pass as a totally different actress.

Vergara was happy to hear Clarkson’s new comments. She told the host “that’s exactly” the reaction she originally wanted. In the end, Vergara and Clarkson’s “clash” was all in good fun.
