A new HoYoverse demo always means more lore crumbs to get to know their characters. Following their Agents S-Ranked line, Zenless Zone Zero dedicates a new teaser to Soldier 11, one of their most mysterious characters at the moment. However, this demo has only ignited more of the theories that have been circulating through the fan community. We are one step closer to finding out what the spark that started it all was and caused the two to split up. Their story is just beginning, and it’s already catching fire.
Not only because of her name, this log reveals that Soldier 11 is part of an elite squadron probably related to a military faction. This girl has received such specialized training to do such risky missions without any support. Although this was not the case before, in this Zenless Zone Zero character teaser, we see how Soldier 11 remembers much of her former partner’s advice. Anby is the one who resonates in Soldier’s memories, advising her not to get hurt or be more objective when fighting during missions. However, it’s clear that the bridge of that companionship or even friendship burned a long time ago.
This Fire DPS proves her own worth as a vital member capable of the most risky missions, thanks to her precise ability to become a wildfire. It is not yet clear if they are family, despite their similar characteristics, but we already know that they did form a team in which they depended a lot on each other. According to this character teaser, Soldier 11 seeks to burn all past ties with Anby, marking her own path in Zenless Zone Zero. It will be interesting to see at some point in Anby’s or Soldier 11’s story quest how far back their past together goes.
