Do you know how to get a good ending in Sons of the Forest? The game features multiple endings. Only you decide which ending you will have after finishing the main storyline. This article will teach you everything about getting a good ending in Sons of the Forest. Moreover, we will talk about the best finish in Sons of the Forest.

Endings in Sons of the Forest

Whether the ending is good or bad is an entirely subjective thing. There are three possible endings in Sons of the Forest, and you can see them all in the list below:

  • Stay on the island – Bad Ending
  • Leave the island with Kelvin – Good Ending
  • Leave the island with both companions – Best Ending

In this guide, we will focus on a good ending and talk a little about the best ending. So, let’s get started!

How to Get Good Ending in Sons of the Forest

To trigger a good ending in Sons of the Forest, you must complete all the goals of the final mission. Get the artifact and watch a cutscene. After that, you must decide if you want to board the helicopter and leave the island or return to the island and keep playing the game.

If you want to have a good ending, choose the first option. Your character will return to civilization, meaning you saved him a life.

Even though some players consider it impossible to play the game after choosing a good ending and leaving the island, the reality is the opposite. Once you complete the central storyline, you will unlock Creative Mode.

It is a world type without enemies, static stats, and resources. And it will be unlocked despite the ending you choose.

As you can see, nothing is challenging about getting any ending in Sons of the Forest. Moreover, you will be able to play the game even after leaving the island.

As of 2023, Sons of the Forest is available only on PC.
