Soulframe Unveils Open-World and Combat Gameplay at Tennocon 2023
Digital Extremes has gained a lot of fame due to its care and devotion to Warframe. Those in the game’s beginning might remember the state it was. While not bad, it has undoubtedly improved, providing a better experience for all types of gamers. With those lessons, the developers have moved to a new project: Soulframe, which finally gave us a broader look at its mechanics in Tennocon 2023.
This game will take players to a fantasy open world with many similar features to those in Warframe. From what we’ve gathered, this game will also have classes, spells, and even some bonuses you can grab while delving into the game’s procedural dungeons.
Co-Op Action in a New Fantasy Setting
Digital Extremes brought out the big guns in Soulframe’s debut trailer by showing some of the co-op gameplay we’ll enjoy. Besides that, the fantasy setting is refreshing and has some original things that set them apart from others regarding art style. The spells, the bosses, and the scenery all look great and fit the gameplay perfectly. From flashy spells to having your mounts fight for you and even some QTEs, we’re in for a treat when this game launches.

One of the things that blew everyone away was the graphics. This game is pushing the boundaries by providing a stunning fantasy world. Beyond that, there seem to be new physics systems in place, which will let players experiment with them to take down foes. Undoubtedly, this game aims to give players more freedom in approaching encounters. Thankfully, everything the developers have learned from Warframe is coming to Soulframe to create an accessible yet challenging game.
