Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has garnered a higher player count when compared to its predecessor Jedi: Fallen Order, even with all the performance issues the game launched with. Since its release on April 28th, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has been available on PC and current-gen consoles, with users reportedly experiencing horrible performance while playing the game, if they were able to boot it up in the first place.
Criticism of the PC version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has been particularly harsh, with its Steam page riddled with negative reviews citing poor performance. Even gamers with high-end PCs have reported subpar performance at best, although many have praised the game despite these problems. The game’s overall score has since recovered somewhat, currently holding a mixed rating on Steam.
Despite all that, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has managed to surpass the peak concurrent player count of Jedi Fallen Order on Steam. According to SteamDB, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has a peak concurrent user count of 63,597, compared to Fallen Order’s 46,550 simultaneous players. This is a significant increase over the original game, which does not seem to suffer from the same issues, currently holding a “Very Positive” rating on Steam. Star Wars: Squadrons is also close behind, with a concurrent player count of 36,492.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Has a Higher Player Count Than Fallen Order
This might come as a bit of a shock, but Star Wars Jedi: Survivor does not hold the title of the most popular Star Wars game on Steam in terms of peak player count. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has reached an impressive 82,517 simultaneous users and was one of the best-selling games of the first half of 2022, beaten only by Elden Ring. Talk about the unexpected.
At the time of writing, 43,078 fans are playing Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on Steam, and it remains to be seen if it will reach a higher concurrent count in the coming days. Many single-player games reach their peak player count on the first weekend after launch, so it’s possible this is the most love it’ll ever get.
