Stephen “tWitch” Boss‘ widow, Allison Holker, has officially unveiled her new boyfriend three months after teasing their romance. The professional dancer debuted her blossoming relationship with her beau, Adam Edmunds, on Instagram. She shared multiple pictures from their recent appearance on Dancing With The Stars.
The adorable pair attended the event on Tuesday, November 12, celebrating the show’s 500th episode with Holker’s colleagues. Holker and Edmunds looked happy and in love in the pictures, emotions the dancer echoed in the post’s caption. She thanked ABC for the invite to the event before sharing how special it was to her relationship, writing:
“Showing @adam.edmunds my world was perfect. Thank you for being at my side and being my anchor. I couldn’t be more happy and excited for this next chapter. #dwts.”
Holker’s message sparked fans’ outpour of love and support, with her boyfriend chiming in. Edmunds answered the viral query many had since their relationship launched — “Can he dance?” the answer is “No!” Before fans could respond, Holker assured him there was no need to worry as she planned to teach him. The couple’s cute exchange received supportive comments, with many happy for the dancer.
Holker’s Instagram community offered similar sentiments in August when she soft-launched her relationship. We covered that she shared a picture of her shadow and Edmunds holding hands with a red heart emoji. Although Holker did not reveal her lover’s identity, her post sparked numerous congratulatory comments.
Fellow widow Amanda Kloots, who lost her husband Nick Cordero, wrote, “Very happy for you.” A fan noted, “It’s been a long time coming. Proud of you for taking the leap.” Meanwhile, a third hoped Holker’s new beau could dance like her late husband.
Allison Holker Addresses Stephen “Twitch” Boss’ Mental Health Struggles
Earlier this year, we shared that Holker had opened up about her late husband’s death. She revealed Boss had struggled with his mental health before committing suicide in December 2022. One of the reasons for his issues was fame, with the widow noting he was a different man off-camera.
“I knew him as Stephen. A lot of people knew him as ‘tWitch.’ Very two different humans,” Holker explained. She claimed “tWitch” was an extroverted character her late husband embraced, but it felt unnatural to him. Living as “tWitch,” the beloved dancer and entertainer who brought joy to thousands, eventually became Boss’s undoing.
Holker noted the extroverted personality impacted her late lover negatively, saying, “It would drain his energy. And he would have to come home, and he would always tell me … our home was his safe place.” Even when he stepped away from the spotlight, Boss could not find solace, forcing him to embrace “darker” activities. Holker claimed he could find a way out of his depression whenever she left him to his devices.
However, it seemed Stephen “tWitch” Boss could no longer find a path and chose death. He can rest in peace, knowing Allison Holker has found love again.
