Mario and friends can finally save Princess Peach from Booster‘s clutch once they reach the town of Marrymore. Once you head inside the town’s chapel, Peach will get hit by the Sniffits and lose her brooch, ring, shoes, and her iconic crown. Unfortunately, the building’s door will be shut for the forced wedding though, and you cannot get out. This means, that to crash this wedding and add her to your Super Mario RPG party, you’ll need to find Peach’s lost crown and accessories.

The princess’s most iconic accessory is actually hiding in plain sight. As seen in the picture above, Booster is wearing Peach’s crown on top of his head during the Super Mario RPG wedding ceremony. Simply jump on top of Booster’s head at the altar and you can reclaim the crown.

Aside from Peach’s crown, finding the other items is easy enough. Since they all have been collected by Booster’s Sniffit minions, all you need to do is talk to them. Be prepared to mash the A button though since they will run around the chapel very fast like a kid on sugar rush.

When you enter Marrymore Chapel, the game does mention that “something good will happen” if you collect and return all Peach’s accessories as fast as possible. Depending on how quickly you gather the items and talk to Booster, you will get a different cutscene when crashing the wedding ceremony!

If you get the crown fast enough, Peach will kiss Mario on the cheek. But if you take your time, Mario will end up getting a kiss from Bowser and/or Booster instead. Obviously, these are just joke cutscene and it won’t affect how the story progresses.

Curious how the Bowser and Booster alternate cutscenes unfold? Or maybe you failed to get Peach’s kiss? You can see all four variations of the Peach’s crown cutscene in Zephiel810’s Super Mario RPG video below.

Super Mario RPG is available on Nintendo Switch.
