A delivery driver dropped off a flower arrangement at a woman’s house in Tucson, Arizona. Not fully aware of the meaning behind the item, the man later found out the woman had recently lost her baby in a miscarriage. He went straight for a comforting hug, stealing the hearts of hundreds of thousands online.
Darian Lauer shared the Ring camera footage showing the heartwarming interaction. She is a photographer who, sadly, lost her baby girl in a missed miscarriage. While she is a photographer, her TikTok content centers around family and lifestyle. This latest clip, however, went viral, garnering 529,400 views, 122,500 likes, and 458 comments.
The clip shows the Arizona deliveryman holding a flower arrangement outside Darian’s house. The woman opened the door, and the man immediately asked if the gift was for a birthday, possibly expecting a “yes” so he could congratulate her. Instead, he was met with some terrible news.
“Oh, my baby died,” Darian said. Her daughter had passed away days earlier.
Without hesitation, the man extended one of his arms and hugged Darian. He expressed how sorry he was, adding, “I mourn with you.” The Arizona woman, meanwhile, is seen tearful, but the man continued comforting her, this time with words.
“I hope you find peace. That little one is still living in you and sharing his DNA with you,” the man said, before walking away to his vehicle.
