A new trailer for Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris is now available to watch, Bandai Namco announced today.

The new trailer showcases part of the story-line of Medina Orthinanos, the game’s new original character, as well as new playable characters.

Among the characters shown in the trailer, it is possible to notice the Integrity Knights Scheta Synthesis Twelve and Renly Synthesis Twenty-seven as well as Kirito’s old mentor Sortiliena Serlut.

The trailer also features another original character not shown in any previous trailers, the knight Hersyrian, together with three new villains Black Knight, Kayode, and Mysterious Giant.

In case you are not familiar with the title, Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris is an upcoming JRPG game following the storyline of the eponymous anime and manga.

The game will feature a first-of-its-kind fighting system called the “Tactical Learning AI System,” as well as free updates, in-game transactions via SAO coins, and the CUBE system. This mode will enable players to randomly win in-game costumes, accessories, weapon skins, and more.

As shown in the new trailer, characters in the game will be able to build up teams and master the eight different Sacred Arts – Heat, Ice, Wind, Water, Crystal, Steel, Light, and Darkness. They will also be able to build bonds with other characters and date them in-game.

Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris is already available to pre-order for Xbox One Play Station 4 and STEAM PCs. Bandai Namco has teased the perks for both the Standard and Deluxe editions of the game.
