Taylor Swift is currently front-page news for wearing another show-stopping outfit as she enjoys a double dinner date in New York City. On Friday night, the 34-year-old singer put on a couple’s display with NFL player boyfriend Travis Kelce, but she also wound up a talking point for heading to dinner with actress Blake Lively and the 37-year-old’s husband Ryan Reynolds.
Turning heads in a Gucci corset as she continues to unofficially promote the Italian label, Tay-Tay dressed herself up to the nines in a leggy minidress and heels, but not everyone was a fan of her look. Users on The Daily Mail likened both Taylor and Blake to “streetwalkers,” with one fan saying that both ladies looked “cheap.” One look at the price tag for Taylor‘s outfit more than shows she’s anything but — the Grammy winner is now a billionaire with a $1.3 billion net worth.
Taylor Swift Wows In Corset Minidress With Travis Kelce
Rocking her second Gucci outfit in a matter of weeks, Taylor highlighted her curves in a plunging, tan-and-black bustier top, one retailing for $1,700.00.
Displaying her toned torso via a fitted bodice, the pop star drew the eye to her legs in a tiny black skirt forming the lower half of her dress, adding in black leather booties from Louis Vuitton, plus a logo Dior saddle bag in black.
In an open tan coat, Taylor coordinated her look with wintry accents, which were completed by stud earrings and a full face of makeup. The “Fortnight” singer, of course, stuck to her signature red lip as she held Travis’ hand. She, Travis, Blake, and Ryan all headed to The Corner Store in SoHo.
Getting Told It Looks ‘Cheap’ Amid Billionaire Status
Meanwhile, Gossip Girl star Blake went for the ripped trend, rocking a clingy red maxi dress. Fans hounded the starlets from the get-go.
“Yikes! What ugly clothes!” one said, with another calling the outfits “the worst.” One fan gained likes for saying that the whole party looked “cheap,” with others asking how stars with so much money still can’t get their fashion right.
Meanwhile, on an Instagram account dedicated to Swift’s style, some sent praise, but others shaded her look. “I prefer her original style, which is more quite luxury and old money-coded, without logos, labels etc.. She doesn’t need it, she’s the Taylor Swift.. Her choice though, she looks beautiful,” one fan replied.
In a rare move, given her endorsement potential, Taylor has opted out of fronting a major designer label. She has, however, fronted Diet Coke, Keds, and Apple Music in the past.
