Tchia is a game that won’t see you bored without anything to do anytime soon. In fact, beyond the main storyline, there are numerous side activities you can participate in as you sail across the beautiful waters. One of those is Diving Challenges. It’s not just one thing to compete, however. We want to be the best. To do that, you have to learn how to earn Gold Trophies on all the Diving Challenges in Tchia.
How to Win Gold Trophies in Diving Challenges in Tchia
The gorgeous open world of Tchia provides players with plenty to do if you don’t want to always stick to the main story. An exciting side task is diving. It’s exactly as it sounds, but there are specific areas you want to visit for Diving Challenges:
- Gutu
- Ita/Silibom
- Jawè Boo
- Mwaken Village, Leji Sinöe
- Pwärä Caa
Now that we know where to go, let’s figure out how to earn those Gold Trophies in all five Tchia Diving Challenges.
When you go up to the Diving Challenge, you will notice the wooden board with the Trophies and the score required next to each one. Typically, the score for Gold will differ across the challenges. So, don’t expect to always have to earn as low as 160, for example as one challenge may require you to score 200 points.

Let’s focus on earning points in Diving Challenges to reach Gold Trophies in Tchia. When you dive, you want to bring up your “emotion” menu while diving. Meaning, the menu used for Tchia to pose. It will show you a wheel with different directions you can move.
Turning the different directions will allow you to perform a variety of tricks as you rush toward the water. The key is to perform multiple moves as that will help you earn more points.
However, if you want to land Gold Trophies during Diving Challenges in Tchia, you must take care of how you land in the water. You want to land on your head/hands or feet. If you land any other way, you can lose 50 points. This can quickly steal your Gold Trophy no matter how well your tricks were.
Another way to win Gold Trophies in Diving Challenges is to only hit the water, not the rocks. If you nail the rocks, even a little bit, it will throw off your entire dive and also steal the trophy from you.
Consider getting a running start too before you dive off. This way, you get more time to perform more tricks.
