An Alabama man is raising concerns after recording a neighbor standing near his home and appearing to look through a window. He later claimed the woman returned several times within minutes, leaving him increasingly uncomfortable about why she was approaching his property.
The man shared a video on TikTok, opening it by saying, “Tell me I’m not the only one who thinks this behavior is [expletive] weird.” He then showed footage of a woman standing outside his window and appearing to look toward the inside of the house. After several seconds, she walked away.
After showing the footage, the man provided more context about the incident. He explained that the area shown was their driveway, describing it as “Our private driveway that leads up to our private house.” He added that his family did not know “these people” and had never spoken to them. The only thing he knew about the woman and her family was that they had moved several houses down from them about a year and a half earlier.
The man claimed that the woman had stopped in front of the house and looked through the window to see whether anyone was home. He then showed a picture taken from inside the house that appeared to show the woman standing near the window and looking toward the house.
After sharing the picture, the man claimed that the woman had repeated the behavior several times within five to 10 minutes. “The strangest and most concerning part about this whole thing is the fact that this woman felt so comfortable walking up into a stranger’s driveway, looking into a stranger’s house that she doesn’t even know,” he said.
The man then shifted his attention from the woman’s behavior to what he perceived to be her Muslim faith. “If I wanted to live in the UK, I would just [expletive] move there,” he said before criticizing what he described as “cultural sensitivity.” He did not explain what the UK had to do with the encounter or provide evidence that the woman’s religion played any role in why she approached his home.
When commenters questioned why he didn’t simply speak to the woman, the man claimed that approaching her wasn’t a good option because he believed her “cultural norms” prevented her from making eye contact with him. “While I agree, unfortunately due to their cultural norms, this woman will not make eye contact [with] me so approaching is not a great option,” he wrote. He did not provide any evidence for that assumption. He also responded positively to commenters suggesting bacon, pigs, and other actions apparently aimed at the woman’s perceived Muslim faith rather than her alleged behavior.

Viewers Debate Alabama Neighbor’s Behavior
Many viewers criticized the situation after watching the Alabama man’s video. While some focused on the woman allegedly looking through the windows, many others directed their comments at what they perceived to be her Muslim faith. “They don’t understand how America works. And they’re not even trying,” one person wrote. Another commented, “WE SHOULD ALL BE CONCERNED.”
Several other viewers made broader remarks about Muslims rather than focusing on the woman’s alleged behavior. However, some commenters focused on practical ways to address the alleged behavior rather than the woman’s religion. “Get a no trespassing sign and put it where it’s very visible. Then when it happens again file a police report with video evidence. They will tell her to stop,” one person suggested.
Whatever brought the woman to his driveway remains unclear from the short footage. The video appears to show her standing near the Alabama man’s home and looking toward a window, but it doesn’t reveal why she was there or confirm his claim that she returned several times. What is clear is that the conversation quickly moved beyond a dispute between neighbors once the man and some of his commenters made her perceived religion part of the story.
