A Texas homeowner calling President Trump a “Ketchup Ear” and “Zionist” has been drawing criticism online after putting up rather controversial opinions as exterior home decor. In photos shared by ComplexBreakfast on r/pics, the man’s house can be seen with signage claiming the “Earth Is Flat,” “NASA Is a $69 Million Per Day Joke,” and “Trump aka Ketchup Ear Is a Zionist.” While he’s free to have and share his own thoughts, the internet finds his perspective quite troubling.

“This person is eligible to vote btw,” comments a Redditor, another emoting a broken heart in response. “This is literal mental illness,” remarked another. ComplexBreakfast chimed in agreement, saying that what this politically vocal man was claiming is “wild stuff,” pointing out the homeowner has similar statements pasted on his truck, making hundreds on Reddit strongly concerned.

Reddit Accuses the Man of Being MAGA Despite His Criticism of Trump

Some people assumed this Texan homeowner likely owns guns too, implying that could perchance be of concern. Several users accused the man of being a ‘former Trump supporter gone rogue. “They’re your typical maga nut jobs but with the recent spin of Trump is being manipulated by ‘ze jews’ so now hes part of the illuminati,” explains a commenter.

Another chimed in agreement, saying how “They haven’t stopped being MAGA, they just think Trump is compromised. This person wants a new, worse version,” referring to the homeowner. “Great way to keep people away from your house, I guess,” joked an individual.

Many pointed out how this house is allegedly owned by someone named Patrick Burke, also known locally as the “Flat Earth Guy.” Though OP has shared a photo of the man’s truck, which says his name is Eric Dubay, based on his website advert.

Needless to say, the site is packed with plenty of controversial topics. For example, one sentence in Eric’s “Zionism” page reads, “Unlike the demonic portrait that history has painted of him, Hitler was beloved by his people and he wanted nothing but peace.” Another comment in ComplexBreakfast’s post claims that this man also believes conspiracies such as “the Hubble Space Telescope never existed” or “the Titanic sunk for insurance.”

Many Americans have always prided themselves on the right to free speech, yet that right is a two-edged sword for some. As this Texan named Eric, or allegedly Patrick, shows, someone might have the freedom to have outrageous opinions, but many Americans will be sure to strongly criticize and condemn them for doing so.
