A woman in Dallas, Texas, was leaving her home when a random, wet dog decided he needed to join her trip by entering her brand-new vehicle. She tried everything to get the dog out of her car, struggling to do so. Eventually, he exited the car, only to enter the woman’s house immediately after.
The woman in question is Noelle Fontes, also known as Uptown Mom Dallas. She regularly shares lifestyle and family content with her followers, but the clip attached above stood out, as it quickly became one of her biggest. It garnered 2.2 million views, 290,700 likes, and close to 1,000 comments.
The Texas mother is shown exiting her vehicle as she was on the way to leave her house with her son, Dillon. As she was checking her cell phone while moving to the other side of the car, a random dog came flying by and attempted to enter the vehicle from the back passenger’s door. He would then enter the SUV through the driver’s door.
Noelle eventually noticed the dog inside her vehicle, reacting loudly, “Whose dog is this?” shortly before delivering a high-pitched scream.
What followed was a montage of Noelle and Dillon attempting to get the dog out of her vehicle. According to her, they spent 10 minutes trying their best, and the dog is seen exiting and reentering the car multiple times.
The Texas mother is shown opening and closing doors in an attempt to get the wet dog to leave. All the while, the dog, according to her, was making a mess out of her new Lexus GX 550. At one point, Noelle even carried the dog out, only to reenter the Lexus from the driver’s door.
Finally, Dillon managed to get the dog out. Sighing a sigh of relief, the woman began getting ready to leave, still wondering who the dog’s owner was. She didn’t realize that the dog had entered her home because, of course, Noelle had left her front door open. The clip ended with her managing to get the dog to leave her house.
Dog Becomes Internet Sensation
The video sparked multiple responses online.
Some viewers found the clip hilarious. One commented, “Dog said, ‘Well, fine then, I’ll stay home.’ And went inside the house.” Another one said, “I thought the dog was gonna bump the shifter and put the car in drive or something.”
Others weren’t fans of how Noelle handled the situation and were very vocal about it. One person wrote, “I consider this a vibe check, and you did not pass it.” Another one added, “Did you just let him run away? Poor guy was lost.”
Despite the criticism, the Texas woman revealed that the dog had a collar and she was able to contact the owner. They reunited, and while they offered to pay for a car detail, the woman declined.
