A woman in Texas, who identified herself as Black, shared a shocking video detailing what happened when she arrived for a cleaning job.

The woman in Texas said she works for Homeaglow and had been assigned a cleaning job at a specific address. According to her account, when she arrived, the homeowner, who was described as White, asked her to leave without allowing her to complete the work. She believed his reaction was related to her race and wrote over the video, “He realized I was colored…” The homeowner’s reasoning for refusing service is not confirmed in the video.

In the video, the woman attempts to exit her car and asks the homeowner whether he wants her to clean. The man responds, “No ma’am,” and tells her to leave his driveway so he can get out. “Nobody invited you. Now go,” he adds. She then explains that she is there through the cleaning company Homeaglow, but he does not change his stance and continues to insist that she leave.

Because of how she said she was being treated, the woman asked the homeowner why he was being “mean.” He responded by reiterating that no one had invited her to the property and again told her to leave. She then argued that she had been invited through her job since she had accepted a cleaning assignment for that address. The woman also mentioned that she would need to follow certain procedures to receive a lockout fee.

At this point, the homeowner continued refusing to allow the woman in to complete the cleaning job. He then asked if she was recording him, and she confirmed she was, explaining that she needed to provide proof that she had arrived at the address but had been denied entry. “You won’t come back I promise you that,” the man said.

The homeowner then asked her if she wanted him to call the police. She responded by insisting that she had every right to be there through her assignment, but he did not agree with her explanation. Before leaving, she told him she was going to post the video. “Are you serious?” he asked, and she replied that she was.

The woman then closed her car door and continued filming the man as she said, “He was so mean to me for no reason. He was so rude. So I’m not gonna accept any more jobs for this man.” The video ends with her driving away. After the footage circulated, online users reportedly identified the homeowner and shared details about his workplace. Some also began posting negative reviews, which were later removed.

The video is gaining attention due to an incident involving a confrontation between a cleaning worker and a homeowner that many viewers have interpreted in different ways. The situation has sparked online discussion about workplace misunderstandings, discrimination concerns, and how quickly disputes captured on video can spread and lead to public backlash, as well as debates about accountability and fairness in how such incidents are judged on social media.

Outrage Following Texas Woman’s Video

The video sparked reactions online. Many viewers expressed outrage over the incident in Texas and believed it reflected racial discrimination against the woman involved. “I’m so sorry you were subjected to such blatant racism,” one person wrote. Since the homeowner was identified online as a lawyer, some users encouraged the woman to pursue formal action. “Hey so you should actually file a complaint with the Texas Bar Association,” another commenter suggested.

You handled it so well. So sorry you were treated that way.” Someone else added, “It’s a shame that in 2026, we still have to deal with racism. I am so sorry this happened to you, sis. You handled yourself like the queen you are.” Others urged caution, noting that the full context of the situation is unclear.
