Corey Pritchett Jr., also known as YouTuber CoreySSG, is an influencer from Texas who finally met the consequences of his crime on November 24, 2024. It was on this date that he kidnapped two women and took them on a wild car ride down a highway while wielding a handgun. He eventually threatened the two victims with “I’m going to f— y’all and then kill y’all,” before leaving them on the road to find their own way back home.
Initially meeting the two women at a gym, the Texan YouTuber took them to a bowling alley before abducting them when it was assumed he’d take them home. According to a criminal complaint obtained by Law & Crime, “both complainants stated by this point they noticed there was a complete change in behavior in the defendant where he was not the same person as he was earlier that day.”
Driving “in the opposite direction” of the women’s homes, Corey sped down the highway well “over 100 mph.” All the while, he was reportedly wildly waving his handgun out of the car’s sunroof, even firing shots into the air. Thankfully, he eventually left the two kidnapped women on the side of the highway, saying it was their “only opportunity.” After being accused of his freakish abduction, the YouTuber fled the US to Qatar to escape being arrested.
Fortunately, the kidnapper was finally arrested on January 17, 2025, with a kidnapping charge. His final post on X the same day was, “Though I walk through the Valley of Death, I Fear No Evil.” Outrageously enough, the Texan YouTuber tried his best to defend himself, calling himself a “warrior for God.” Four days before his arrest, he asked his followers whether they believed he really kidnapped the two women, to which the first reply was “Yes. We definitely think you did that s—.”
His posts prior to his arrest were similar in style: a delinquent trying to come to terms with his crime. From warning his fans of the second coming of Christ to saying he’s nothing like Diddy, his descent into madness might have been more entertaining if the crime he committed wasn’t as frightening as it was. At least he was allegedly finding it funny, posting statements like, “It never been so fun being a criminal when the s— false. I’m enjoying this just like y’all.” The first response hasn’t spoken truer words: “Will enjoy watching the criminal justice system work.”
