Bibury Animation Studios, the same studio involved in the second season of The Quintessential Quintuplets, was responsible for the anime adaptation of 100 Girlfriends. Also, thanks to Crunchyroll, fans could enjoy The 100 Girlfriends in simulcast during the fall 2023 anime season. But through the official networks of this work, the studio, the news of season 2 with a teaser where scenes from the first season of 100 Girlfriends appear. In addition, the official Twitter also shared a promotional illustration for the continuation of the anime.
Also, in the last episode of the anime, appeared briefly, the possible Rentaro’s next four soul mates. Among the potential new girlfriends are:
- A baseball player.
- A girl who loves to eat.
- A narcissistic girl.
- A mysterious girl who resembles Hahari’s maid.
