Last month’s Bam Box had a crazy theme and this month the theme is “strange.” All the items in this box have a strange aspect to them. Let’s take a look.
The totem set is based on the movie Inception. If you remember, this totem was used to help them determine whether or not they were in their own dream or someone else’s.

This watch is based on the movie Alice in Wonderland and has the rabbit engraved on it. Most people have seen the movie or at least know the rabbit is always late even with a watch.

At first, I really didn’t know what this bat represented. It comes with the nails in a plastic package and you have to insert them into the holes to create this “weapon.” I didn’t know if it was a sad replica of Lucille from The Walking Dead (the horrid season premier was still burning in my mind) or something else. So, I did a little research and found that this is from Stranger Things. Who knew?
Gene Wilder was a great actor and I really like this “Pure Imagination” Art Print. Gene Wilder was the original Willy Wonka in the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory which just happens to be one of my favorite movies. What a great tribute to Mr. Wilder!
We also received this Grimm Volume 2 #1. Some boxes contained the Black and White cover which was a nice surprise for them.
The Bam Box always has a pin with their box and Beetlejuice was the inspiration for this month’s pin. What a strange but funny character!
Summary: This box had some pretty cool stuff in it but nothing that really appealed to my personal taste. That’s the thing with some of these boxes, they are hit and miss. But when they hit the mark they are really cool! The next box we will be reviewing is the “watching” theme and is full of spooky, scary stuff in honor of Halloween. Look for it very soon!
Right now, they are taking orders for the “Adult Cartoon” themed box but you have to hurry fast! They are only taking them for the next 20 hours or so then you will be signing up for the December box (theme unknown at this time).
